These are pictures from the York County Literacy Council's Buck-A-Book Kick Off at the York Galleria, Saturday January 12th. The fundraising effort runs January 21st through the 28th. Last year over 3000 York County students read more than 16,000 books and raised over $92,000 dollars to fight for literacy. The YCLC features english as a second language classes and tutor services free. Because there is a waiting list, the group is always looking for tutors.
